The game is the sequel to the successful Star Wars: Battlefront and features new vehicles, characters, game mechanics, maps, and missions. The game was released in PAL regions on October 31, on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox platforms, and in North America on November 1 of the same year.

The mod also adds several of the maps from BF1, first seen in the Conversion Pack as well as Toola: Frozen Tundra, a previously stand-alone map as well as some very nice new game modes such as the Mandalorian mode which includes a whole new Mandalorian side complete with Jango Fett and Pre Vizsla.
The mod adds lots of cool new features like new weapons with accompanying sounds as well as new units for both sides: The coolest part of this is that the Mandalorian Carbine features the distinctive firing sound which I was so happy to hear in a mod. There are no real bugs in this mod but there are a couple of things I thought could have made it better.
From the word go, all units are unlocked, providing no incentive to play as generic infantry units perhaps the other classes should have been unlockable.
